I have always loved anything made from industrial materials, from jewelry to furniture. One of my favorite jewelry piece that I almost always wear is my spiral stainless steel bracelet given to me by my friend from Poland, made from one piece of metal in a brushed finish. I immediately fell in love with it. It was a no brainer for me to fall in love with the Dennis Miller Associates “Gear Ceiling Fixture” 42″ Dia. x 8″H made in corrugated Stainless Steel. I have used it over a Dining Table, Foyer, and Wine Storage Room.

I love the dull metal of both the bracelet and chandelier. They have a certain sheen and raw feel to them. Raw materials are always great – they are not pretentious and have a certain simplicity about them. They do not try to be anything else than what it is. It’s good to be inspired by inanimate objects and then relate them to interiors.
